Restaurants:

SLEVOMAT is a website to buy vouchers for meals, amazing deals, but remember to call the restaurant and make a reservation before you buy the voucher, they may be full.  Once you confirm they have availability you must tell them it is for a voucher.

CafeTerapie
Excellent atmosphere, location, and food!  Super cheap as well!!!

Jecminek
Great breakfast!!!  Coffee or tea, scrambled eggs with ham, and a roll for 3 euros.  Just across the street on the ground level of Harmony Hotel.

BonaVita Restaurant: 15 minutes by foot
The best ribs in town for sure! 800 grams for 190kc ($9) is perfect!

Cafe Imperial: 3 minutes by foot
A great restaurant to dress up for a formal higher priced dinner.  Excellent service and food!

Maitrea: Vegitarian Food
Very classy and cozy inside.  Reservation is a must, but you can try to walk in off the street.  The downstairs area is the nicest so if you can request that by reservation or when you walk in you will be happy.  Save room for the dessert platter; I'm not a dessert guy, but it was fantastic!!!

Palanda Restaurant: 5 minutes by foot
Excellent menu with a great menu for amazing prices.  The beef cheeks are only second to Cafe Imperial.

Krystal Mozaika Bistro: 10 minutes tram & foot: Take the 8 or 3 a few stops to Krizikova and walk 3 minutes
This is my favorite restaurant right now! The food is very high quality and very affordable!!!  They have the best burgers in Prague hands down!!!

Las Adelitas Mexican Restaurant: 13 minutes by foot
For real authentic Mexican food go here!!!  Amazing food at low prices!

The Globe Bookstore & Cafe (Great Breakfast Place!!!): 13 minutes by foot & tram: 14 tram to Myslikova (8 minutes) and walk 5 minutes
One of my favorite places for a real American breakfast! They have live music on Fridays and Karaoke every Saturday.

Remember Vietnamese Restaurant: 1 minutes by foot
I eat here more than any other restaurant due to locality, service, and excellent food for below reasonable prices!  I recommend getting either #21 or #44!

Potrefena-Husa: 5 minutes by foot
Very tasty Czech food (I don't normally like Czech food) and reasonably priced with a wonderful atmosphere

Kolkovna: Celnice location (Nam. Republiky): 6 minutes by foot
Very traditional inside and out....good food, even better beer!  The beer is tank beer delivered right from the factory daily, so the freshest beer without the nitrogen added!!!

Gate: 7 minutes by foot
Excellent mix of food from all over the world.  Czech food, steaks, American & Tex-Mex, Italian pastas, etc.  Very reasonably priced and always full!  The wine is very delicious as well.

Pizza Coloseum: 6 minutes by foot
Very tasty Italian food at a great price.  The wines are very good as well.....the Czech house red is good, but the best is the Italian red.  I would recommend going to the location that is on Vaclavske Namesti because the view on the main square is fantastic!!!.

Grosseto Marina Ristorante: 30 minutes by foot or take bus 207 (7 minutes) to Staromestka and walk 3 minutes
One of the best places to eat considering the view and location.  The prices range from inexpensive to expensive.  All the pasta and pizza dishes are not over priced and the beer and wine is worth a sit on the deck overlooking the castle and river.

Pivovarsky Klub: 10 minutes by foot
Great little hidden gem that is no so hidden for those that really enjoy beer and have done their research before coming.  Anthony Bourdain went here when he was in Prague several years back so you know the food and beer is good!  I would recommend the Ostrich Medallions....mmmmmmmm!!!!!

Discount website for local deals on food:

KuponPlus: Great place to find discounts for local restaurants......normally 60% which makes it quite a good deal.

Slevomat: More great deals for local restaurants and more

Bars/Clubs

Nebe: Dancing

Naplavka: Bars, restaurants, live music, farmers market on Saturdays, etc.  Great local spot and one of the best party spots in the summer!!!  The link is for the farmers market because Naplavka doesn't have it's own website....but the farmers market page will get you started and help you find it.  The bars and restaurants are just about 24 hours a day....I think by 4-6am they shut down and start back up around noon.

Anonymous Bar: Cocktail lounge

Lucerna Music Bar: Dancing

Red Room: Live music & cheap beer and lots of local expats!!!

Harley's Bar: Trendy bar in town with high energy and always full; Dancing on the tables!

2nd Floor: Relaxed hidden gem for locals and hip tourists; DJs, Dancing, artsy/classy:

Bombay: Dancing and to meet other single people

Beer Museum: 30+ beers on tap

Chapeau Rouge: Very eclectic style and fun.  Downstairs has live music/DJs

Cross Club: A must see as far as design.  All made of car parts that are moving and lighting up.  Very cool place if you don't mind leaving the center.

Pepe Lopez: FREE MARGARITAS (not sure if there is any catch or how many you can drink) for women daily from 22:00-24:00.  Not sure how long the offer is for, but I read it on the window May 23rd, 2015.
